Columbus Regional Health System Implements Order Optimizer Content Management System
Health System adopts cloud-based clinical content management platform to standardize order sets across multiple HIS
Columbus Regional Health System (CRHS) announces the go-live of the Order Optimizer ™ clinical content management system. CRHS is utilizing Order Optimizer within its enterprise CPOE strategy, inclusive of Siemens Soarian.
“Order Optimizer’s unique order set management features have allowed us to digitize our CRHS-approved order sets in seven weeks, put them in our physician’s hands months in advance of our CPOE go-live, and know this key part of our CPOE strategy is good to go for the long term” stated Andrew Morley, MD, Chief Medical Officer of CRHS. “We wanted the ability to author and manage our own clinical content, use it as we transition our HIS infrastructure, and know we can efficiently keep our catalog up to date in the future. Having surveyed the market Order Optimizer was unique in its ability to support us in our journey.”
“We’re pleased to partner with CRHS to provide them unique clinical content management capabilities” noted Dr. Philip Sanger, MD, Chairman of Order Optimizer. “The platform’s ability to easily assimilate and build clinical content, render it via our patented, ONC-certified merging engine, and provide round trip content integration to numerous HIS platforms makes a lot of sense for organizations wanting to do the right thing for patients today, even as they transition to their enterprise CPOE.”
